LITZ members want local recognition, have goals to go global
On November 11, Viva’s new Pinoy Pop Girl Group, Litz, said they want local recognition and shared their goals to go global.
Their members consist of Heart Ryan Evangelista (19), Ashtine Olviga (22), Bianca Santos (20), Fatima Añonuevo (20) and Yumi Garcia (18). Teacher Georcelle also described each of the members of LITZ.
During the media conference for LITZ’s song Natataranta, Heart and Fatima detailed their goals in the next three years.
“For me, I think we want to establish– by three years, establish–we want the people to get to know us. The Philippines, at least,” said Heart.
“Another thing that we want in the next three years, we want to go global,” Fatima added.
The group’s mentor G Force’s Teacher Georcelle said she wants LITZ to find their own space in the music industry while highlighting the talent of Filipinos.
“I really want to find our own space in this music industry. I really want PPop to boom. Ang Pilipinas parang mayaman sa lupa, agriculture, kahit anong itanim mo tutubo.
“Dito po marami talagang talento at ‘yan ang yaman ng Pilipinas. Everyone can sing, everyone can act, and it’s just a matter of kailan natin pahihinugin. Lahat sila may kinang, but kailan natin pakikinangin the brightest ang kanilang kinang.”
She then revealed that the LITZ members are currently focusing on performance as artists.
“The focus is really performance. They can dance, and they can sing. That is the focus. But they’re all movers.
“These girls, when they step on stage, they have that command. That’s a big factor.”
Teacher Georcelle then shared details about the group’s intense training regimen.
“In the GForce dance center, we have a pool of choreographers. So they’re being handled by not just one choreographer, but three and more. They have a head trainer who gives a conditioning class for them who work in the muscles. And also, a trainer who really finds the moves for them. Kumbaga kung ano ‘yung natural intuition nila. Ano ‘yung naturally coming out sa kanila. And then we will work with that.
“One of the choreographers is actually my daughter. Her name is Teacher Jaja. And she is the one who choreographed Natataranta alongside another–our creative director in GForce Dance center, Ritz Beltran.”
The newest Pinoy Pop Girl Group from Viva, LITZ, introduced themselves to the public with the single Natataranta on November 11.
The group is currently under the mentorship of Teacher Georcelle and the GForce Dance Academy. They hone their skills as performers under the tutelage of the renowned choreographer who brought life to Sarah Geronimo’s iconic dance number, Tala.
