Charlie Dizon avoids being offensive; Joshua Garcia says he will do everything to help her

Viral Scandal star Charlie Dizon said on Thursday, November 11, that she minimizes her behavior of being too expressive to avoid any issues but has a different take if she is rumored to be pregnant.

In the show’s media conference, Dizon said, “Siguro iyon yung iniiwasan ko na maka-offend tapos kumalat na ganoon na parang nabastusan sa akin.”

When asked if she is fine with facing issues such as getting pregnant, the 25-year-old actress pointed that it is not a problem for her.

“I mean kung mangyari naman po ‘yon, feeling ko hindi naman po scandal for me iyon. Parang it’s meant to be siguro to happen.”

Meanwhile, her co-star, Joshua Garcia, was asked how he would defend the actress if she faced a scandalous situation similar to their teleserye.

According to Garcia, he would know the story first before deciding whether he would speak on behalf of Dizon or not.

“Kailangan ko muna alamin ang istorya kay Charlie before saying anything kasi mamaya baka hindi naman kailangan magsalita, magsasalita ako. Baka mamaya parang mas dapat siya ang magsalita more than ako, baka ganoon ang sitwasyon.”

But the 24-year-old actor noted that he would do everything to help Dizon.

“Pero kung sakali na magsasalita ako, I’ll do everything na kaya ko para naman mailigtas or may masabi ako na makagaan sa sitwasyon ni Charlie.”

Viral Scandal is an upcoming Kapamilya show directed by Dado C. Lumibao and Froy Allan Leonardo. It also stars Dimples Romana and Jake Cuenca.

The teleserye tells the story of Rica (Dizon), who was involved in a scandalous video that went viral, affecting not only herself but also her family.

The series will begin on November 15 as part of ABS-CBN’s Primetime Bida lineup.
