All grown-up TNT Boys return on the ‘It’s Showtime’ stage after a hiatus during the pandemic
Keifer Sanchez, Mackie Empuerto, and Francis Concepcion; the three young male singers came back on It’s Showtime as guest contestants for the Madlang Pi-Poll segment.
Better known as the TNT Boys, are now grown-ups.
“Oh my God, na-miss ko sila! Patingin ka! Kayo pa ba ‘yan?” Vice exclaimed.
Vice Ganda was extremely happy to see the TNT Boys again.
“Natatakot ako na hindi na ako kilala ng mga anak ko. Hindi ko na alam ang hitsura nila. ‘Yun pa rin ‘yung buhok, ‘yung tindig, ‘yung chubbiness. We miss you!” Vice stated she have missed the three after not seeing them for a long time.
“Na-sad po kami. Nag-pray po ako na sana makabalik kami sa TV, kasi marami ring naghihintay sa amin na makakanta kami sa kanila,” Empuerto shared what he felt regarding their hiatus in their singing career during the pandemic.
In 2017, Vice helped forge the trio in his late-night talk show Gandang Gabi Vice.
The TNT Boys got its name after Tawag ng Tanghalan Kids, the singing contest where the three young singers first competed individually. They were the finalists of the amateur singing competition.
Sanchez was declared the runner-up, while Empuerto and Concepcion bagged third and fifth place, respectively.
In 2018, TNT Boys won the title as the grand winner of the second season of Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids.
Their young career in singing expanded on the international stage when they performed on four franchises of the hit talent show Little Big Shots Philippines, United States, United Kingdom, and Australia.
