As the plot intensifies in ‘Legal Wives, ‘the rating gap widens against ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’

As the story intensifies in GMA Network’s Legal Wives–it widens its rating gap against ABS-CBN’s FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.

On September 7, the Muslim culture-centered drama series has recorded its highest rating with a 16.0%, ranking second in the chart.

At the same time, it also sustained its gap against ABS-CBN’s flagship show FPJAP with a 3.3% difference.

For the past week, Legal Wives has consistently won in the ratings. From being fourth in the chart, it rose to the second rank, surpassed FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.

On August 30 and 31, the rival series had a difference of 2.6% rating.

While on September 2, Legal Wives, continues to reign as its gap against FPJAP increased to 3.1%.

On September 6, the Legal Wives earned 15.0, FPJAP earned 12.0%, leaving a 3.0% gap.

These figures are from the data released by AGB Nielsen NUTAM.

The World Between Us‘s season break contributed to this increase in ratings.

A week before the season break of TWBU, Legal Wives used to fall behind FPJAP with the latter leading with at most 1.5%.

On the September 7 episode of Legal Wives, Farrah was diagnosed with depression. Due to this, her father Abdul Malik decided to arrange her for marriage. He believes that it will help cure his daughter.

Ismael’s one-night stand with Amirah was also discovered by Diane so the latter decided to leave her Muslim husband.

The September 7 episode of FPJAP also shocked the viewers as the apparent death of John Prats’s character was exposed in the closing scene of the series.
