Amid Ate Gay’s issue, Vice Ganda admits getting hurt after netizens question the amount he gave to a ‘friend’

Comedian and It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda admitted on Thursday, September 16, that he was hurt when he received harsh comments after he helped a friend.

“May natulungan ako.

Upon reading the comments about his friend’s revelation, he was surprised to see some Netizens question the amount he gave.

“Napalunok ako, parang ‘pag ako ba yung tumulong dapat may presyo? May ceiling, di ba?

Although Vice did not reveal the name of his friend, it was clear that he was referring to comedian Ate Gay who revealed the friends who helped him when he was hospitalized and needed financial aid.

According to the comedian, the showbiz friends who helped him were Vice, Beks Batallion, Calvin Chua, Ogie Diaz, Ogie Alcasid, Teri Onor, and Paolo Ballesteros.

Ate Gay was bashed by Netizens for his pro-government stance and said that the comedian did not deserve Vice’s help.

To defend himself, Ate Gay, in a now-deleted tweet, clarified that it was his brother who contributed the most in paying his hospital bills.

However, Vice was not hurt by Ate Gay’s revelation. Instead, he was hurt by the Netizens’ reaction towards the money he donated for his colleague’s cause.

Meanwhile, Vice and Ate Gay’s relationship was not scorned by the revelation of the latter.

In an interview with Ogie Diaz, Ate Gay admitted he was embarrassed by how Netizens linked Vice Ganda’s name to his pro-government opinion.

Maraming salamat,” said Ate Gay.
