Drag has been one of the most groundbreaking TV shows in mainstream Pop culture. Since 2009 it gave the spotlight to the LGBTQIA+ community with the American reality TV show RuPaul’s Drag Race.

The TV show steadily grew in popularity, birthing seasons after seasons of Drag realness. It even branched out in different countries like Australia, Spain, Holland, UK, and Thailand.

And over the years, Drag Race fans in the Philippines have been waiting to see the reality competition arrive on Filipino shores.

Fans of Drag gagged when Manila Luzon, a Drag Race fan favorite, announced her interest in launching a reality TV competition featuring Drag performers in the Philippines. Enter Drag Den with Manila Luzon

And people just death dropped when RuPaul herself announced the opening of the auditions for Drag Race Philippines—making it not just one but two Drag reality TV competitions arriving on Pinoy television.

With that in mind, many are already making their own wishlist of Drag performers who might join and possibly compete in one of the two reality TV competitions.

We have compiled a list of gag-worthy contenders who might snatch the title of becoming the Philippines’ first Drag Superstar from the respective reality TV competitions.
