Princess Velasco enjoys her journey as a Kapuso

“They’re easy to work with.”

This was the statement of Kapuso singer Princess Velasco in a virtual interview on November 19 when asked how was her journey as a Kapuso so far.

It was September 2019 when the Acoustic Princess signed up with an exclusive contract with GMA Records.

Now that three years have passed, Princess says she is happy with her decision. Her experience has been good, and she has worked with many good people in the network.

“Being a Kapuso, as I mentioned, I used to work with GMA before sa corporate world, siguro around 2002 to 2006 o 2005, so matagal din.

“I always love the culture in GMA. Alam mo ‘yun parang magkakakilala lahat, mababait lahat, so hindi na ako nahirapan when I signed with GMA music. Kilala ko ‘yung ibang mga tao dun noon pa,” shared Velasco.

She is very grateful for the opportunity given by GMA. Through this, she was able to show her talents and release good music.

“I’m very thankful also kasi nga parang I’m given the opportunity to record an original song. ‘Yung isa na “Kaunti na lang” maganda ‘yung kanta na ‘yon and parang sakto rin sa pandemic yung theme ng song na ‘yon.”

Her work in the said network was smooth for the past three years. Velasco is utterly grateful because GMA understands that she also has other responsibilities outside of her singing career.

“Wala, wala akong problema. They’re easy to work with. All of them are very nice and kind. They let me do my thing kaya nakakatuwa. Kumbaga they also adjust sa family life ko. Kasi syempre priority ko ‘yung mga kids. Nakakapag-adjust sila don and I’m very thankful for that,” she added.

After taking a break due to the pandemic, Princess Velasco returns with a new single, “Ang Ating Pag-ibig” under GMA Music.

It was released on November 19 and is available on Spotify, YouTube Music, Apple Music, and other digital platforms worldwide.
