GMA Network strengthens primetime dominance with three top-performing programs
The three primetime Kapuso programs, ’24 Oras’, ‘I Left My Heart in Sorsogon’, and ‘The World Between Us’ conquered the ABG Nielsen rating chart and secured the top three spots for the most-watched TV programs nationwide.
’24 Oras’ and ‘I Left My Heart in Sorsogon’ remained consistent in the Top 2.
’24 Oras’ led the rating chart with an upward trend in ratings last week—17.4% on November 22, 17.5% on November 23, 17.7% on November 24, and 17.9% on November 25.
Now on its second week, ‘I Left My Heart in Sorsogon’ maintained the second spot. On Monday, it earned a 14.1% rating. On November 23 and 24, its ratings went down to 13.6% and 13.0%, respectively. However, on November 25, ‘I Left My Heart in Sorsogon’ bounced back with a 14.1% rating.
After its several months of hiatus for its season break, the Jasmine Curtis-Alden Richards-starrer Kapuso series ‘The World Between Us’ is back on primetime starting November 22.
With its comeback, the GMA Network has strengthened its presence in the primetime slots.
Compared to its previous season, where it faced ABS-CBN’s flagship program ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’, ‘The World Between Us’ came back stronger on its new timeslot. It now faces ‘Marry Me, Marry You’, which is greatly behind the Kapuso series in terms of ratings.
On November 22, ‘The World Between Us’ ranked fourth in the rating chart with an 11.4% rating, falling behind with 0.2% from ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’.
The following day, ‘The World Between Us’ surpassed ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ and cimbed up in the third spot with 12.1%.
On Wednesday, the rating of ‘The World Between Us’ dropped to 10.6% but, it remained in rank three.
On Thursday, it increased its ratings to 11.4%, maintaining the third spot.
In terms of online presence, ‘The World Between Us’ earned 15k – 130k views for its November 22 to November 25 episodes, while ‘I Left My Heart in Sorsogon’ earned 11k to 52k views during the same time frame.
