On November 2, Miss Intercontinental Cuba Yeniffer Marin posted on her Instagram account accusing the Miss Intercontinental pageant of fraud.
On her Instagram account @yeniffermarin_, she questioned the integrity of the Miss Intercontinental pageant.

Her remarks imply that Miss Intercontinental 2021 Cinderella Faye “Cindy” Obeñita won through “money, power, and influential direction.”
However, Miss Cuba clarified that she didn’t attack any of the candidates with her post. She also noted the struggles all the candidates faced during the Miss Intercontinental competition.

Cindy Obeñita was the second Filipina to win the Miss Intercontinental crown. She competed with 70 candidates from all over the world at the Hotel Sunrise Diamond Beach Resort in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.
Obeñita isn’t only the beauty queen who was recently subject to post-pageant drama. Recently, a netizen accused Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Gomez of cheating on her partner.
