Full Philippine winners of Asian Academy Creative Awards (AAAs)
ABS-CBN, GMA, and TV5 Network received national recognition once again as Asian Academy Creative Awards (AAAs) recently announced its winners in several categories.
The AAAs is a Singapore-based award-giving body that recognizes creative industries for their content creation and media production achievement.
The Kapamilya channel and its subsidiaries bagged 11 recognitions this year, while the GMA Network had seven recognitions and TV5 with five recognitions.
Kapamilya actor JM de Guzman received the best actor award in a leading role for his perfomance in Init sa Magdamag. While the recipient of the best actress award in a leading role is Maja Salvador for Niña Niño.
This is the second time that Salvador has won this award. Her first was in 2018 for her performance in ABS-CBN’s series Wildflower.
Niña Niño also received the award for the best drama series of the year.
The Best General Entertainment, Game, or Quiz Programme recipient is GMA Network’s All-Out Sundays.
Vice Ganda was awarded the Best Lifestyle, Entertainment Presenter/Host with his game show Everybody, Sing!
The said game show was also awarded as the Best Music or Dance Programme.
TV5’s Sing Galing! won the Best Non-Scripted Entertainment while “Iba sa 5” was awarded as the Best Promo or Trailer.

Best Children’s Programme (One-Off/Series): DepEd TV Filipino Grade 2 (Department of Education)
Best Comedy Programme: Boyfriend No. 13 (WeTV)
Best Current Affairs Programme or Series: Reporter’s Notebook: “Lilibeth, Sonia, Frank, and Fabel” (GMA Network)
Best Direction (Fiction): Chad Vidanes (He’s Into Her, ABS-CBN / iWant TFC)
Best Documentary Programme (One-Off): Fedelina: A Stolen Life (ABS-CBN)
Best Drama Series: Niña Niño (Cignal Entertainment / Cignal TV / TV5)
Best Editing: John Wesley Lagdameo / Alvin John Memji / Thea Rivera Daguman, The Lost Recipe (GMA-7)
Best General Entertainment, Game or Quiz Programme: All-Out Sundays (GMA Network)
Best Infotainment Programme: Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho: “Baby Switching” (GMA Network)

Best Theme Song or Title Theme: “He’s Into Her” by BGYO/Jonathan Manalo/Gabriel Tagadtad/Theo Martel (ABS-CBN Star Music)
Best Visual or Special FX in TV Series or Feature Film: The Lost Recipe (GMA Network)
Both the ABS-CBN and GMA Network consistently perform well in AAAs. This year, TV5 joins the two networks in receiving recognition from the annual event.
