Angeli Khang stars in Mahjong Nights feels this is the start of her journey to stardom

Lead star for Viva’s Mahjong Nights Angeli Khang felt on Thursday, October 14, that she is on her way to stardom.

Before the media conference of Mahjong Nights, the young talent promised that she would give everything just to become a star.

When she got her first lead role in Mahjong Nights, the young talent felt that it was the beginning of her stardom, although she knows she still has a long way to go.

“I think po every sexy scene ko po is a part of me na s’yempre kinakabahan ako. But I think nakamit ko yung mga expectations sa’kin ni Direk Law and I think isa po sa mga kailangang abangan ng mga tao at marami kaming mga pasabog do’n,” she expressed.

Prior to landing the titular role in the movie, Khang was launched as one of Viva’s newest sexy stars in Sean de Guzman and AJ Raval’s Taya.

In this latest movie, she will have de Guzman and Jay Manalo as leading men.

“Sobrang feel ko po na blessed dahil sa second movie ko, leading lady agad ako. Sobrang nakaka-flatter na makasama ko si sir Jay at si Sean sa movie,” said Khang.

The young artist also showed her admiration for Manalo as she revealed that the actor guided her and helped her with the scenes she was struggling with.

“Lalung-lalo na po off cam sobrang bait po talaga ni sir Jay and tinuturuan n’ya po ako sa mga adlibs or anong ia-act.

“At kapag hindi po ako marunong i-act yung ibang mga scenes, s’ya po yung gumagabay sa akin at nagko-cover sa’kin.”
