Lester Llansang shared how Angel Locsin helped him in the past

In his interview with Ogie Diaz aired on Wednesday, September 15, Lester Llansang narrated how Angel Locsin helped him in the past.

The actor currently works as a Lalamove driver after ending his five-year acting stint in FPJ’s Ang Probisyano.

“Nagde-deliver ako ng mga pangangailangan ng mga tao. Isa ako ngayong Lalamove driver.

“Hindi ganun kalaki yung kinikita, pero kung masipag ka, raratratin mo yung biyahe araw-araw, okay naman siya.” Llansang said.

During his stay in the showbiz industry for years, Llansang noticed how some famous artists were blinded by their success and became big-headed.

“Yung pag-aartista trabaho talaga yon. Huwag natin tong gamitin para mang-apak tayo ng ibang tao. Huwag manggamit ng ibang tao para umangat ka. Iiwan mo yung tao pag okay ka na.”

Llansang implied that this is not the case for Locsin.

Aside from her great acting skills, he said he admires Locsin among other stars for her kindness to others.

He then revealed that Locsin was the one who shouldered the expenses when his previous partner gave birth in the hospital. She also volunteered herself as the godmother of his child.

He recalled, “Si Gelocs kung tawagin ko siya. Si Angel Locsin. Yung time na tumutugtog ako sa bar niya dati. Lalabas yung anak ko dun, manganganak yung misis ko dati, tapos wala akong budget. Si Angel yung sumagot ng buong bayarin. Tapos ninang pa siya.”

In his amazement, Llansang said the actress never asked for anything in return.

“Hindi ganun si Angel. Nakakatuwa siya, hindi siya ganun. After nun, sabi ko ‘Gel sobrang thank you’, ‘Basta tugtog ka pa rin sa bar ko ha?’, Ganun lang. Walang ano, wala.

“Tapos natuwa ako nung sinabihan niya ako na wag daw ako mawawala sa kasal nila. Nakakatuwa si Angel. Close kami, tropa kami,” he added.

Throughout the years, the actress has been known for her charitable works whether in public or behind the cameras.

For this reason, many cannot argue that she is a real-life Darna and a real-life angel indeed. Locsin has been the target of hurtful issues which mostly come from government officials. But this didn’t bring her down as she continues to be a good person.
