Jao Mapa says something to men who are ‘losing’ their way

One of the hottest 90s stars, Jao Mapa, who is returning on the big screen, gave a big piece of advice for his fellow married men who are ‘losing their way’, August 31.

“Hindi n’yo pa nakikita yung ganda ng misis n’yo. Hindi niyo pa na-appreciate yung pagmahahal na binibinigay ng misis n’yo. Kaya kayo naliligaw sa landas.

“Para hindi kayo maligaw sa landas na ‘yan, kailangan matuto kayong mahalin yung asawa niyo,” he adviced during his Paraluman’s virtual press conference.

Paraluman is an upcoming Vivamax film directed by award-winning horror and thriller director Yam Laranas. It stars Mapa, Rhen Escaño, and Gwen Garci.

The film tells Peter (Mapa), a soon-to-be-married man who falls in love with Mia (Escaño), a minor and twice his age.

The actor was also asked if he could be in a similar situation as his character in Paraluman. He explicitly answered that he is “flying straight” with the mother of his three children, Cecille Mapa.

“Hindi na p’wede, kasi reformed na ako eh. Been there, done that already and I’d like to fly straight with my beautiful wife whose having her birthday already next month.

“I like to take care of my relationship with her right now,” responded the actor.

“Storya lang tong Paraluman at kathang-isip lang ni Direk na ipo-portray ko lang as one of his characters.”

This movie will also mark Mapa’s comeback in doing films after signing a contract with Viva Artist Agency earlier in March 2021. His last movie project was back in 2017 in Pagpag: Larawang Kupas.
