Jaclyn Jose posts photo with Andoy Ranay despite the director’s ‘basura’ statement

Jaclyn Jose posted a picture with Andoy Ranay on Instagram on Monday, September 27 despite hitting back on the latter’s ‘basura’ statement.

“Someday”, the actress captioned the photo.

It can be recalled that Ranay made a harsh comment, which degraded the quality of an unnamed TV station’s shows.

“Aanhin mo ang franchise kung basura naman ‘yung trabaho?” during the virtual media conference of his new project on on Sunday, July 10.

This prompted Jose to hit back on him as she felt that Ranay referred to the Kapuso network.

The award-winning international actress then ranted via Instagram on Wednesday, July 14 to defend GMA Network.

She posted on her Instagram a photo that says, “I don’t fear the enemy who may attack me, I fear the fake friend who will still hug me.”

In her caption she said this: “Ang lungkot lang… mula pag pasok ng crew set up tent? Hanggang sa pag dating ng mga artista at nagkukumahog to be ready?

“Sa set up ng DOP, set designer, huhugot ang mga artista para ready at all times, maayos trabaho, pagod.

“Pero masaya kasi alam namin nakagawa kami ng relevant scene for a day, pinag-iisipan ng lahat kung ano ba ibibigay per sequence, lahat nagta-trabaho walang hanggang trabaho.

“Lahat ginawa ko, pinagtrabahuhan ko? Pinag-isipan ko, kahit ano pagod ginagawa namin makapagbigay ng magandang programa na hindi (BASURA).”

After facing criticisms on social media, Ranay broke his silence and particularly reacted to the actress’s statement.

“Kumare ko si Jane, and she should know me better,” Ranay said.

Jose and Ranay were long-time friends. They worked together in the drama series Mundo Mo’y Akin on GMA Network.
